VPLS

Our VPLS service securely extends the Ethernet local-area network (LAN) throughout the entire WAN, making the MASERGY network completely transparent. It includes fully-meshed Layer 2 multipoint connectivity to the customer no matter where your sites are located and independent of the access technology being used.

Ease of Management – VPLS scales easily, so adding a new site does not require any configuration changes to existing equipment. Existing sites will automatically recognize the new site via a new entry in their MAC tables. The process is exactly the same as adding a new PC to an Ethernet switch. Since all connectivity is done via Ethernet, any Layer 3 protocol used in the LAN can also be transported across the WAN.
