The MASERGY Hosted Remote Access (SSL VPN) service simplifies remote access for partners, telecommuters, and customers by offering broad, feature–rich access to files, applications and resources through an easy–to–use portal accessed from a standard Web browser. SSL VPN allows you to gain the strategic benefits of SSL without considerable capital and operating expense or reconfiguration of applications and the corporate network.

With MASERGY SSL VPN remote user traffic is intercepted at our hosting facilities and passed to the corporate network, encrypted and secure from end to end.  Juniper® Networks SSL appliances intermediate contact between the corporate network and remote users, ensuring that users are restricted to authorized areas and never make a direct connection to the network. This intermediation prohibits network layer transmission of malicious code, malware, trojans, worms or viruses by remote users connecting on potentially compromised computers.

Network file folders are accessed using a standard Web browser for secure uploads and downloads. Company intranet and extranets are easily accessible. VoIP phone calls and video conferences can be originated as if users were calling from their desk at the office.  High–performance network layer access is delivered through a small applet that exceeds the performance of software IPsec clients performing similar functions.
