Using our Intelligent Bridge, we are able to deliver four types of VPNs—in the form of VLANs—to every one of your business sites. These virtual connections are provided in any number and any combination, giving you complete flexibility for your public and private network needs. You simply designate which VPN option(s) you want at each site to create your unique network solution.

Virtual Connections

Private IP – A private IPVPN network service based on RFC 2547. This Layer 3 service offers all the advantages of any-to-any communication with the equivalent security of Layer 2 services. More than one Private IP connection can be implemented easily for customers who have separate networks within their organization.

Public IP – A Layer 3 service that provides internet access for customers over a completely separated logical connection from private traffic.

VPLS – A Layer 2 IPVPN service (based on the VPLS draft) that is ideal for customers interested in doing their own routing across their wide area network.

VPWS (formerly Private Link) – A Layer 2 service that connects sites using a simulated point-to-point connection over a logical connection separate from the Public IP and Private IP connections.
