As the scale of the Internet of Things (IoT) market continues to grow exponentially, enterprise technology spending in the space shows no sign of slowing down.
According to a recent McKinsey report, by 2020 the IoT market will be worth $581 billion for information and communications technology-based spending alone, growing at a compound annual growth rate between seven and 15 percent.
