How Masergy Was Named Visionary for Two Years Running in Gartner Magic Quadrant for Network Services, Global

Gartner has once again named Masergy a "Visionary" in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Network Services, Global. In fact, we are the highest ranking Visionary in the quadrant.

Gartner summarized it best in the report, which states:

"Masergy gets high marks for strong customer service, and should be evaluated by organizations requiring network services in all the major global economies."

The report also calls attention to Masergy’s strength in customer experience:

"Gartner also sees customer satisfaction continue to evolve and, as denoted through customer references, satisfaction is not equal. Both Masergy and Vodafone scored the highest through our research reference verification."

Steady Yet Rising: Masergy Ascends to the Right

This year our position is higher and further to the right when compared to last year. Our 2018 placement reveals several important takeaways:

Staying Power: Masergy has proven the ability to sustain our visionary status, which validates our position as a disruptor in the market. After all, visionaries are known as companies that have revelations, actively driving the future through wisdom and experience. And, we feel confident that we consistently embody this characterization. How did we achieve staying power? In the previous years, we spoke with Gartner analysts about how Masergy was one of the first service providers to deliver software defined networking, network function virtualization, and vCPE globally.

This year, our conversations focused on advancements around security, and deeper real-time analytics and control, as well as more customizable platforms. Additionally, we shared use cases in which our customers are using Masergy’s Hybrid Networking solutions to drive innovation, easily "spinning up" test environments to safely experiment with new disruptive technologies. It all adds up to increased innovation with decreased time-to-value and time-to-market.

Upward Movement: Masergy’s position within the quadrant moved up on the Y axis and to the right on the X axis. The X axis represents “completeness of vision” and the Y axis “ability to execute.” Many of our large competitors (whose market capitalizations rank in the hundreds of billions) actually shifted down on the Y axis, meaning they decreased in their ability to execute, while others were completely reassigned to other quadrants.

Given Masergy's relative size in comparison to our largest competitors and Gartner’s structured, data-driven approach to vendor placement, we are excited about our placement in this category. It is worth noting that Masergy’s industry-leading Net Promoter Score serves as clear evidence of our operational excellence and ability to execute. For the past six years, our NPS® has been the best in the industry bar none, and currently stands at 74--far outpacing the rest of the industry.
