Masergy built a carrier class communications platform in the cloud with no single point of failure. Masergy houses our UCaaS servers in multiple, highly secure and geographically redundant data centers that are fault-tolerant and load-balanced (N+1) for high availability. In the unlikely event that a server or the entire data center is out of service or unreachable, traffic is automatically routed to other servers or data centers without any service interruption.

Furthermore, to help customers mitigate local attachment circuit breaks or localized power outages on their premises, Masergy UCaaS features several business continuity options. For example, the Call-Forwarding-Not-Reachable feature allows users to automatically receive calls at a preselected failover destination, such a mobile or home number, when the user’s primary device is unreachable or unregistered during a power or connectivity loss.
