Six-Way Calling

Description

This service provides users with the ability to add other users to a call in progress, similar to the Three-Way Calling service, up to a maximum of Six-Way Calling also known as ad-hoc N-Way Calling. The easiest way to use Six-Way Calling is by using a Call Control Client such as Masergy Unity Client. You can utilize this feature using the telephone as well.

How to

From Masergy Unity – Simply click Dial or click on a user to connect more calls (or click on an incoming call.) Click the Conference Button. You will see a smaller version of this icon next to all lines in the conference. You can disconnect the lines one at a time. Simply highlight the line to disconnect and click Release. If you leave a Six-Way call the other parties will remain connected.

Users with the N-Way Calling service assigned and properly activated can create a conference using their phones, adding other users to a call in progress up to a maximum concurrent number of six. Users allowed to transfer calls can also drop out of conferences that they have created, leaving the other participants connected.
