8th annual Stevie® Awards will be presented on June 21 in New York City

DALLAS (May 26, 2010) – Masergy, a privately held global network service provider that has redefined enterprise wide-area networking by delivering a superior customer experience, was recently named a finalist in the Customer Service Department of the Year category of The 2010 American Business Awards.

The American Business Awards are the nation’s premier business awards program. All organizations operating in the U.S. are eligible to submit entries – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small. More than 2,700 organizations submitted entries in more than 40 categories.

Masergy’s Customer Support Center (CSC) team is backed by a company-wide focus on delivering the strongest network experience for enterprises. The experience begins by simplifying the client’s wide- area network while allowing customers to take control of their global network services. Employees are encouraged to develop processes that improve the customer experience supported by systems that automate these processes to ensure a consistently high level of customer care. Customer feedback is solicited through customer surveys and in-person account reviews, and customer satisfaction is measured on an ongoing basis, contributing to a culture of continued service improvement.

Finalists were chosen by business professionals nationwide during preliminary judging in April and May. Members of the Awards’ Board of Distinguished Judges & Advisors and specialized final judging committees will select Stevie Award winners from among the finalists in final judging that will continue through May 28.

This year’s Stevie Award winners will be announced during the annual gala on Monday, June 21 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. More than six-hundred executives from across the U.S. are expected to attend. The event will benefit Oceana (, the largest international organization focused on ocean conservation. The ceremonies will be broadcast on radio nationwide by the Business TalkRadio Network.
